Tabula Rasa

Tonight, it's yet-another blog about Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
I love this show. I got sucked into it and now I join thousands of people on this planet who can't seem to get enough of it.
I am very happy to say that I'm fortunate to have the company of my lovely wife Christine as I watch the DVDs and VCDs of the show. When I first started getting interested in BTVS, Christine wasn't interested at all. I would try to explain to her why I liked it, but she just thought it was corny and gory.
But now, she looks forward to putting the kids in bed so we can watch an episode together before she goes to bed.
Tonight, we watched "Tabula Rasa" which is the eighth episode from the sixth season. Incidentally, this is the next episode after the famous musical episode -- "Once More With Feeling" (which we watched again a couple days ago).
Tabula Rasa is an "amnesia episode," except that all the major characters lose their memory of who they are. Shortly after this occurs, however, they are visited by some bad guys as they head out together with the intent of going to a hospital for treatment of whatever has inflicted them with memory loss.
So, upon opening the door to go outside, they see these bad dudes. Without impaired memory, of course, Buffy would fight the bad guys and most of the rest of the gang would back her up. But in this case, they just panic. Hee hee! And here's a hilarious frame-grab from the episode.

So, we're slowly soaking up my VCD and SVCD copies of season 6 since we finished the season 5 DVDs I got at the first of December and the season 6 DVDs don't come out until May (although Angel season 3 comes out in February).
I have all of season 7, a lot of it on SVCD. I am missing a couple episodes from season 6- I think 14-17. I hope I can find them somewhere before we get to that point.
