Formal Friday

The end of another week of the grind. I feel like I'm starting to fall into a steady, productive, and healthy routine.
This past week, I've been working on Iodynamics projects every evening, it seems.
I've also been more physically active than I have been in the previous weeks. My blood sugar levels are more normal and I'm less groggy in the mornings because I seem to be getting a little more sleep at night.
Educating ourselves about houses
We found a couple half-acre lots in West Valley City tucked away in the back of a culdesac in a newer development of homes. I think it would be great to have a home built there. However, Christine showed me the average test scores for schools in West Valley City and they seem very low compared to schools in, say, Lehi or Highland.
What does that mean?! Does that necessarily mean the quality of education is lower in West Valley City or does it mean there are simply fewer high-performing kids in the schools in West Valley?
I need to call the developers of the Traverse Ridge area in Highland/Alpine. There is a sign along the highway there which says they are planning to develop about 3500 home sites there near a retail center and technology park. All the homes are to be outfitted with fiber-optic connections. That would totally rock!
But, what if they don't plan on having any homes smaller than whatever-a-ridiculously-rich-person-could-afford? I'd like to think they'd realize the average technology sector worker is bound to find the most use out of a fiber-optic connection to their home and that the average technology sector worker isn't ridiculously rich.
I need to call them.
Someone is coming to see our house on Tuesday. I'm planning to do some more work on the basement bathroom this weekend like putting in a bathtub and throwing some wallboard on the walls and ceiling. That means I'll also need to do some electrical work as well. Oh boy.
