Tracy

hi Doran 12:10pmMe

hi 12:10pmTracy

I noticed the other day something about a house almost burning.

was that your house? 12:10pmMe

heh. Yes, our neighborhood almost burned. 12:11pmTracy

where do you live? 12:11pmMe

Herriman. 12:11pmTracy

where is that? 12:11pmMe

SW Salt Lake valley. 12:12pmTracy

what an event! 12:12pmMe

indeed. 12:12pmTracy

Who do you live with?

My wife and I live in Logan. 12:12pmMe

What do you mean? 12:12pmTracy

family? 12:12pmMe

My wife and three kids. 12:12pmTracy

I don't know much about you.

oh

cool

at least you still have your family 12:13pmMe

Yep. 12:13pmTracy

Thinking of moving? 12:13pmMe

nope.

We love it here. 12:13pmTracy

Wellllll that's just cool you're alive all of you. 12:13pmMe

Yes. Nobody was hurt. 12:13pmTracy

Do you speak Spanish I must ask because we do. 12:13pmMe

A couple firefighters were lightly injured...

but nothing serious.

No, no spanish. 12:14pmTracy

I think those firefighters should be paid more. 12:14pmMe

I'd like for our reasons to know Spanish to... go away. 12:14pmTracy

So glad you're ok.

What do you mean reasons? 12:15pmMe

Illegal immigrants. 12:15pmTracy

Are you LDS? 12:15pmMe

Yes. 12:15pmTracy

Have you ever listened to LDS Liberty? 12:15pmMe

What is that? 12:15pmTracy

podcasts

they talk about it there 12:15pmMe

Oh. No. I don't have time for podcasts. 12:16pmTracy

at night you do when you're trying to sleep if it takes you 20 minutes to sleep you do 12:16pmMe

But I do know some open-border LDS libertarian types. They're nuts. 12:16pmTracy

At least you might not say the prophets are nuts

They say a lot about the Latinos.

You may want to pick a podcast and learn something about what LDS Liberty is all about. 12:17pmMe

In addition to all the identity theft and other laws being broken by the illegal immigrants themselves...

there are human trafficking issues as well. Migrant smugglers extort millions from these illegal immigrants and are usually involved in the drug trade as well.

I'm all for LEGAL immigration. I'm for the US as a melting pot.

Right now, Mexican immigrants make up 8X more than any other ethnic background migrating to the US.

That's not a melting pot.

I suggest you learn more as well. 12:19pmTracy

I think there's so much prejudice around. People that call themselves saints claim to follow Christ assuming we do missionary work for example and often our claims misrepresent our words in action. Take, for example, the fact that the first thing that comes to mind is that the reason should go away instead of the reason should be missionary work. So how do you feel about missionary work for those illegal immigrants? 12:19pmMe

Read Rep. Chris Herrod's book "The Forgotten Immigrant"

I think we should COMPASSIONATELY send them back home.

I have no problem with them being proslyted too. 12:20pmTracy

I would like to know what you think about what God thinks about it as spoken through his mouthpieces.

I think we should do more then hope and have no problem with missionary work. 12:21pmMe

And one of our articles of faith says we belief in following the Law. I mean, good heck, Tracy. 12:23pmTracy

do you want an interpretation of what that law is?

it's inasmuch as they sustain the law that God wants

and I don't think you have a clue what I think politically 12:24pmMe

No, not really. I'm not a more entrenched in this issue than you think. 12:24pmTracy

I believe in following the law the Lord promotes. 12:24pmMe

I don't think you understand what God wants. 12:24pmTracy

let's do this 12:24pmMe

No, let's not. 12:24pmTracy

you listen to one of the interpretations of article 13

and I'll read from the book you recommend 12:24pmMe

I'm WAY behind on work due to my house nearly burning down. 12:25pmTracy

I think that a claim on compassion has much more to do with every day actions (and words) not to categorize a people and streotype with prejudice. I can tell you you have no clue what I believe politically. My emphasis is claiming sainthood while tarnishing the name of those "illegal immigrants" rather than lending a hand in missionary work or whatever--and I bet you're more of a missionary than what seems to be presented. 12:25pmMe

oh brother. 12:25pmTracy

I think I can respect you---I just think you misrepresent yourself here.

So I tend to judge you on things that are not written--judging not in a bad way.

but in a good way. 12:26pmMe

You think it's incompassionate to want illegal immigrants to return to their home land?

The standard of living in Mexico is MUCH higher than most other places on this Earth. 12:26pmTracy

I bet you some of those illegal immigrants would be happy to help you for free with cleaning up your home.

like I say you have no clue what I think.

I see no compassion here--just hte word as claiming compassion--no representation of it mentioned at all. 12:27pmMe

I know. I know many illegal immigrants. I don't treat them any differently than legal citizens.

But I do think they're here illegally and they should not be. 12:27pmTracy

I'm not saying anything about whether that is compassionate. I do see it's not explained what you think compassion IS. 12:27pmMe

I'm for removing the incentive for them to be here.

I'm for them returning back to the country of origin.

I'm for missionaries teaching them.

I'm for all of that.

If they want to come back to the US, they should apply for the legal means to do so. 12:28pmTracy

you're tooting the horn of illegal immigrants and I think of wondering what you think of compassion aside from your context given. What do you think in terms of sharing the gospel? You haven't said a thing.---except to kick them out and let others deal with it. I get it. 12:28pmMe

Hey- while they're here, let's teach them the gospel. 12:28pmTracy

It's like some people get on a bandwaggon of a political view and toot that horn all the time. 12:28pmMe

I've got no problem with that.

And when they go back home, teach them the gospel. 12:29pmTracy

no problem....do you do it?

what gospel is that? 12:29pmMe

The Gospel. 12:29pmTracy

one of hate? 12:29pmMe

You're a lot more outspoken than you were in HS.

I never would have expected you to have strong opinions... about anytyhing. 12:29pmTracy

I see no love in the words. Except to preach them the gospel. Empty meaning from a n empty glass.

Hopefully your glass runs over.

I just want to see it. 12:30pmMe

Well, thank you for your thoughts. I'll copy these and use it in the future. 12:30pmTracy

I believe you're better than what you appear online in text.
