I just got off the phone with Jennie. She sent a text message to my phone to let me and Christine know she was staying at her friend Laura's house tonight.

Smoochy* is going bezerk. He's going to lose everything. Jennie is going to file for divorce as soon as she can. She gave him a second chance because he admitted he had problems and expressed a willingness to fix those problems. Since then, however, he has rescinded on any willingness to fix those problems and, in fact, seems to have gone (back) into denial that he has any problems at all.

I'm sure Jennie will post details, but it sounds things got physical today. More of him disrespecting her wishes to be in a room alone; More of his delusional proclaimations that Jennie has no friends, can't communicate well with others, and that she's mean; Jennie shut the door after he left the bedroom, but he slammed his hand on the door to keep it from closing and got his fingers shut in the door. He now claims she is an abusive spouse.

What can be done?

I told Jennie she should have the locks changed at the house as soon as she files and put all his stuff in the garage. She says that could be illegal. I told her everyone in Smoochy*'s family would support her if she did. She's not sure I'm right.
