The following is a report on Memorial Day weekend festivities.

Saturday - My day

We didn't really have anything planned on Saturday, so I spent a good portion of the day working on a portfolio piece for the Iodynamics website.

We did go to the mall and get me a new wedding ring ordered. I lost my original wedding ring sometime during our move. The old ring had been a little loose since I lost weight and I think all the work during the move may have made it even more loose. I noticed it was missing after a day of aggressive movement.

My new ring is going to be titanium. I'm excited about that.

Tom's Birthday

My brother's birthday isn't until Wednesday, but that didn't stop us from celebrating his birthday on Sunday. My sister and her new husband joined my parents, Tom and his son Cole, and our family for a hot dog and hamburger cookout at my parents' house. It was a lot of fun.

A memorial day at the park

Today was Memorial Day and we went to Liberty Park. There, we were joined by joined Prenab and Deb from Logan and their daughter Priya who is best friends with Maya.

We had a lunch picnic then went to Tracey Aviary. We went to the Parrot Encounter again- which was a lot of fun. The girls got to play in the water and play at the playground. It was a lot of fun.

Then, tonight, Jennie, Jay, and Jennie's family held a surprise dinner party at Jennie and Jay's house for Jennie's sister's family because they are moving to Arizona. We helped with the party and partied along.
