I sent e-mail to my academic advisor - Vicki Allan - and asked her about the class. Since it is History 1050 under a different name, I can't use it to count for the humanities credits I need.

Vicki offered a suggestion that I check out classes offered by the Independent Study department. That comment made me mad since I tried taking a class via Independent Study before and the book just sat on my shelf and the class cost me over three hundred dollars.

Maybe I'd be more motivated to do an Independent Study class if I did it because this set of humanities credits represents the last class I need to get my BS degree in Computer Science.
