Let's see. Here's a list of everything I did today:

• Returned History textbook to university bookstore
• Got Iodynamics mail
• Bought oil filter
• Got haircut
• Changed oil in car
• Added oil to truck
• Went to job interview in Ogden
• Exchanged malfunctioning hands-free phone headset

Whew.

Interview

The interview went well, I think. The company I interviewed at is an Internet service provider specializing in colocation and virtual website hosting. They also do national dialup, but I get the feeling that's more of a convenience for the customers rather than a hot ticket item for the company.

They are looking for a system administrator fluent in Linux- that's me. I hope I get an offer from these guys because it's only a 45 minute drive and I'm not excited about the prospect of driving to Salt Lake City for work.

Plus, it sounds like the position offers a lot of growth potential. The gentleman who interviewed me was really cool. I like him a lot.

They apparently got several applicants so they will be doing a second round of interviews. I can't imagine why I won't make it into the second round... unless my minimum salary is too high for them (they want to pay about $15k less than I want). But... you get what you pay for. That's what I told them.
