Cisco Aironet 350

This last week, I got a Cisco Aironet 350-series wireless network (802.11b) PCMCIA adapter for my laptop. I was having no luck getting my SMC card working under Fedora Core 2 and I borrowed my buddy Dax’s Aironet card for a couple minutes and my laptop locked right in on a public access point.

I got the card off EBay for $26.50 including shipping. It’s worked pretty well although I still have a few Red Hat / Fedora networking profiles issues to work through.

Thank you, Evan, for showing me a wonderful .muttrc line.

set pager_index_lines=10

This allows me to have 10 lines at the top of my Mutt screen to view the message I’m looking at in the context of all the messages in the current folder. Very nice.
